Getting to the trail head on all the winding roads was a journey in itself. We started our hike at 7am and the parking lot was nearly empty. I am glad that we got an early start because it started to get pretty warm once we got to the summit. The sky was a bit smokey/hazy from all the fires but it was still a glorious hike. Completed the trip in 4 hours and 20 minutes.
