A great fall hike with the beginning of leaf change. Cool temps and even cold in the morning. Hiking trough John's Meadow trail is a few miles longer with a little bit more elevation gain but way worth the fall scenery. Cold and windy at the top, glad I brought gloves. A lot of people on the main trail but once I got back to the JM trail I had the mountain to myself again.
