I loved this hike for it’s diversity.  It had recently opened up after having been closed down due to fire so while there were a lot of dead trees and bushes there was new growth, summer flowers, and not very many people on the trail. We left early and made it to the top before noon. On the way down the mountain we saw the clouds beneath us rain down on the valley below and then we walked in the rain for awhile.  We were prepared with our rain jackets and loved the experience.
