This hike was a bit tougher than I thought it would be. The marine layer over the city did not lead me to prepare properly for the heat above the clouds. Thus suffered a bit.
Up from the canyon to the first saddle was fine but it was hot toward the next saddle and the switchbacks to the top. I had expected a 4-hour hike and this came in at 5:15 not bad for 13.3 miles still harder than expected.
The views above the clouds were awesome!
