Bear Mountain was a great hike for a cloudy day in Sedona. Hit the trail by about 7:15, there was only maybe one or two other groups on the way up. The approach is enjoyable as your push through the Sedona grasslands. The hike up is short but pretty steep the whole way up. It’s was important to follow the trail markers as sometimes you can get cliffed out. Quick a few false peaks on the way up but well worth the views. You can see the San Fran. Peaks and Bill Williams to the north if it is clear enough.
