We found parking at the ranger station. Had to display pass in the window. Started the trail. It seemed challenging at first. Then the trail widened out and it became more of a road. Snow was all around and there were some icy spots on the trail. Looked deceiving. So I slipped and trashed my poor knee. But otherwise, it was a slow and steady incline to the top. So beautiful! Winter wonderland. I used my microspikes after my fall. Perfectly clear day after the storm. So great views from the top. Only 3-4 other hikers that day. Dressed in layers.
