Gorgeous 360-degree views from the Mount Umunhum summit at 3,486 feet.
The summit was the site of the Almaden Air Force Station during the Cold War era from 1957 to 1980, a radar tower still stands on the summit.
Ohlone tribes are native to the region, “Umunhum” is the root word for hummingbird in five different Ohlone languages.
A Manzanita was blooming.
