Mt. Baldy is number 5 for us! It was sooo windy and so cold!! Like it was comical how strong the wind was; I looked drunk trying to stay upright and on the trail.Â
We did take the chair lift up and it was a beautiful ride even though I hate heights. It was still well worth it.
The trail was really washed away and muddy from the storm the night before but it was still a really fun hike. I thought it was cool being up on the ledge seeing tue views on both sides. The fog was so thick down below it looked beautiful!!
This has been such a fun and rewarding challenge! One left! I just want to encourage anyone with health issues/disabilities; you can do it!! Get out there, take your time, enjoy the journey and go for it! I was diagnosed with Lupus and RA when I was younger and was supposed to be in a wheel chair. This has been such an amazing, hard, rewarding thing for me to do with my husband and son in law. I’m slow and I need help with the rock scrambling but they are the best hiking partners!
