Round 2 for 2020. This is my second time up Baldy, this time i hiked the eastern side (counter-clockwise) figuring it'll be better to get the hard part out the way and I would avoid the sun's intensity while going down. Well…while going up wasn't that awful going down kind of sucked. And that's when I realized I had it backwards. The hard part was the western side with the slippery rocks and it's more populated. Got some amazing shots of smoke from the Apple fire. Hopefully, our mighty fire dep. will gain 100% containment of the fire with no fatalities.
