Happy 2024! My story starts off with my chihuahua Mojo, who I would take hiking with me (unfortunately Mojo passed away on March 4, 2022) but I kept hiking with his ashes because I had started the “52 hike challenge pet series” with him (only got to 5 hikes before he passed) and I had promised that I would finish the 52 hikes with him. We completed our 52 hikes, and now were on to chase some peaks.

in January of 2021 My husband, Mojo and I summit Mount Baden-Powell. We were unprepared, and had a near death experience on that hike. I've been pretty scared of the snow since.

Not only is this our 1st attempted summit of Baldy, it's also our first snow hike since that near death experience on Baden-Powell.  (The bamboo I'm holding in the pictures, are Mojos ashes)
