As the bright sun broke through the crisp, blue sky, I felt the grim reaper closing in on me. While the mountain conditions were perfect, my condition was not. I ran the first 4 miles up and hiked/ran/scrambled the last 3 to the top for a time of 1:56. I ran another 3 down and hiked down the last 4.
