We skipped hiking in March because of rain and T was out of the country. T returned and promptly broke her arm in two places. D and I forged ahead and navigated out way to Angeles Crest Highway. Two wrong turns, surviving a very aggressive motorcyclist and very specific parking instructions from a quaint man from the private residence near the trailhead, we were on the trail. Fairly easy hike until it wasn't. Fair amount of scrambling and then there were the soul-crushing fake-out peaks before The Peak. Beautiful day. I wouldn't come back in the summer as I imagine it's baking hot on this trail.
We took the obligatory summit pics and I photoshopped T into our photo just for fun.
