Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

Weather was perfect, trail was beautiful, foliage was gorgeous in the forest, and wonderful forestry scents. It was wonderful to hear water flowing and see intermittent waterfalls. There were still some snow patches when we went, but easy to cross over. We took the fire road down part of the way, to avoid some snow patches the first mile down. We added some mileage this way and when we walked to Echo Rock lookout tower for the Peak signs.
