Hike began with swarm of bees around my car upon getting out followed by me making extra walk up to the trailhead to avoid further driving car through rough terrain. Breeze present early in the day. Hike started with rocks that progressively transitioned to stones followed by small boulders towards the top. Very few other hikers encountered and stepping stone to stone became more routine as near summit. Warmed up by noon.
