4/6/2024. Yes, the trail was snow-covered all the way from the TH to the summit but ‘expertise' not necessary; just needed a pair of good shoes with traction & a trekking pole especially on return as the fresh snow was quickly becoming slushy & melting away at other parts. Layering certainly helped me regulate the mixed temperature; cool to cold, warm to breezy, throughout the hike. Broken clouds & a partial to full sun made it for a pleasant hike. Just a lovely day!!!
