Let me start by saying this has been my favorite hike of the challenge so far. The trail was filled with tons of different colored wild flowers, caterpillars, tons of ladybugs and we even found ripe wild raspberries growing! The trail was incredibly thick and green. There was some minimal overgrowth somewhere right in the middle but made it more enjoyable for me. We spent a little too long on the way up stopping to take in all the fantastic sites and the sky opened up and poured on us on the way out but it felt great. And we were able to make up our time on the way out getting out at around the 5 hour mark. I will do this hike again most definitely!
