Initially I had intended to join a group hike up Cucamonga on this date, but due to a late start I decided to do Baden-Powell instead. This was my fourth time to hike Baden-Powell since 2015 – and Baden-Powell was an alternate peak for the Six-Pack that year too though not in 2016 or 2017. The parking lot at Vincent Gap was packed but there was still enough space for a few more cars. It was my first time to hike Baden-Powell solo since the first time I hiked it in 2015 – also a solo hike. This time I took my time and although I don't consider myself a fast hiker, I was slower this day than usual. I took longer breaks and was slower getting to the summit. The weather was was sunny, clear skies, and the summit had excellent views. I stayed longer at the summit than my usual time of 1 hour. It felt good. Although this was my fourth time up this mountain, I hadn't been here in 2 years – my last hike here was 2016. It was good to be back.
