Hiked this with my Son (Daniel) and Wife (Marbeya). The trail started off clear with a constant uphill climb. About 2/3 to the top snow patches started to cover the trail and made it difficult to follow. Sometimes, following footsteps worked but there were a few ice chutes to climb near the top. We didn't have microspikes and got by just fine but they would have been nice. The peak was clear of snow and a beautiful view.
