Arrived at parking lot at 5:45 and only 2 other cars where there. On trail at 6:15 and did not see anyone the entire hike. The views while you climb are excellent and the trail is in great shape. When I got to the top two people were coming off to head down and I had the place to myself. I had a clear day to enjoy the beauty of the world around me. The walk down was filled with my stupid singing that I do on descents and saw a number of folks headed up. When I hot back to the parking area I met a couple PCT hikers and hot to drive them to a different trailhead since the fire still has a bit of their trail closed. It was a wonderful day to be me. #4 of 6 done.
