We started our hike up the trail at 5am. It was cold morning with 30mph winds. I personally prefer this trail up because the entire hike up to Baden-Powell your on the ridge with awesome view of the San Gabriel Mountains. We also summited 2 other peaks Throop Peak and Burnham Mt. Once the reached Baden Powell the winds had calmed down and the spring sun warmed us up.
