In Jan of this year I began training to hike the 6 Peaks of So Cal. Nearly 4 months of gradually reaching more serious and strenuous climbs, learning to level my bpm for max endurance & distance, get oxygen quickly & efficiently to my brain (which is a REAL thing and NOT natural!) A TON of lessons learned and now adding elevation bagging my FIRST PEAK!

An elevation of 3,273 feet and 10+ miles with over 2,100 feet of vertical gain to the summit!

So much gratitude to have tackled this bad boy of a constant incline, scrambling (which I now know is more of a 1…2….3 PUSH up boulderS, side stepping on skeet up the wickedly steep and slippery vertical last quarter mile. Best part?? That I was with some of my DEAREST friends who LOVE nature, a great challenge and in the realm of hikers are BALLERS!
