Mount Baldy is rightfully named, deceptively long and has quite the view when you get there. The amount of times I thought we were close to the top were too many to count and I wanted to die a little with each step. Honestly, I’m just thankful I made it because the amount of times I wanted to give up were more than I’d like to admit. Once up there the windchill was top notch and reminded me I need some warmer clothes for days like that. It could not have been more perfect weather though for a hike. This is a challenge after all and for me this one was just that.
