We started at Ohlone College on a Thursday late morning and had no problem finding parking (make sure you pay at the kiosk!). From the parking lot we walked to the trail head. It was a beautiful, sunny, 70 degree ish day. There were not many other people on most of the trail, until we hit the trail to the main peak. We saw lots of cows and be careful of cow patties! This hike was very easy and quick for us; less than three hours when all was said and done, including lunch at the peak. The only challenging part is the last 1/4 mile up to the peak, which is pretty steep. The peak was crowded but we only waited a few minutes to get our iconic picture with the monument at the top. There is an outhouse and trashcan right before you head to the summit.
