The trail was clearly marked and very much used but pristine. Following the stream up and again back down brought sweet moments of zen sounds and it was so pretty! Most of the way up was saturated with mountain laurel, so I fully plan of doing this again in a few weeks when the blooms are in full force. The summit had great views, but the action was in the descent, which isn't my usual favorite part! The views going back down were to die for. Nice hike. Not the most strenuous mountain, but certainly a gorgeous one!
