This was definitely a steep hike! We were thankful to have been able to get this hike in before the fires. We spent Saturday 7/21 evening in Idyllwild, which we highly recommend in the future. The hike was challenging due to the elevation gain. Little big of a rock scramble at the top. Beautiful views which were well worth the effort.
