We started out at 1:30 a.m. It was a gorgeous night with a full moon. It was warmer than expected but not bad at all. Lots or scorpions, large ants and potatoes bugs on the trail. We did have an intermittent breeze. we reached the summit at 5:30 and rewarded with amazing view and we caught the Golden Hour!! It was spectacular!! ✨️ So well worth the early hike and no sleep! We encountered 2 hikers that spent the night and one trail runner. We pretty much had the peak to ourselves. We enjoyed some snacks, coffee, and the beautiful scenery. We started down at 7:20 a.m. It was getting warm around 8. LOTS of people on the trail heading up as we were on our way down. Again, it was a beautiful hike 😍
