This hike was one of my favorites. While it was a little bit hazy, the views were amazing along the trail. We enjoyed hiking through the lava flows and seeing the interesting patterns it made. As we left the PCT to head up to the Belknap Crater, we enjoyed the change in terrain, as the ground turn more sandy. The decent from the top was a lot easier than some of the other peaks we climbed, which was much appreciated by our knees. On the way back down, we took the trail to the Little Belknap. This was a fun little jaunt to another people lookout. We thought the views from the Little Belknap were just as good as from the top of the big crater. I definitely want to do this one again.

This was my last hike to complete the challenge. While this challenge definitely challenged me, I enjoyed exploring the Central Oregon mountains.
