The trail was beautiful all the way through. A lot of powder snow towards the end at the last push to the summit, and there were some icy areas. Crampons are highly recommended. It did start to get windy as the day goes on. The snow made it hard to follow the trail routes, so may need to traverse the powder snow and trek on.
