A few weeks ago the Forest Service number claimed BP was closed (?) but in retrospect it worked out great to hike it today because the weather was just perfect. Warm in the sun, but luckily the trail is so shaded throughout. The summit was not nearly as chilly as I expected, and we enjoyed a few minutes with beautiful views of peaks we’ve bagged and others to come. I’m guessing it will be a very busy weekend!
