It was beautiful hiking weather on Mt. Umanhum – in the 60's and rain-free! Loved the gentle trail with all the lush foliage and shady areas. Made it to the summit easily and pretty fast, although I stopped to take some photos. The sacred site was amazing. A couple had brought cornmeal and another item to place in the sand there – a native ritual. An easy 7.4 miles. I'll do it again from the Woods trail for a 16 miler.
