It was cold starting out at 8am, but finished the trail in a T-shirt. The first half of the trail was clear, closer to the middle the trail was snow covered. Had no issues with just hiking shoes, the snow was hard packed. One the way down, it did get warmer and the snow on the trail was slushy, just had to be slow and careful about going down. I did this hike with a Make-a-wish fundraising group. I'm in the top left in the back, 3rd one in, next to the lady with the black hat.
