My partner and I started our hike around 7am. We decided to ascend through My Baldy Rd towards Devils Backbone. We got to the summit around 12:30 and enjoyed the scenery for an hour. We descended by San Antonio ski hut, and stopped by at the falls to cool off. It was a tough hike but definitely worth it for the views and the workout. It was my first time hiking my Baldy and it was so beautiful I plan to do it again. Next time I’m gonna ascend by the falls and descend through Devils Backbone to get all the views on the way down.
