We timed our hike so that we’d be at the top at sunset. The views were amazing— totally made the hike worth it! It was dark when we hiked back and we could see the stars coming out, which really felt magical. I loved doing this as a night hike, because there isn’t much shade on the trail, and that didn’t matter as much at night.
