This hike was great. All of the boulders gave me a prehistoric bedrock type feel, expecting Dino to come frolicking around the corner at any moment. The hike starts off in a riparian area with streams and coverage. It had rained the day before and it smelled so good. We climbed out of the shaded area and it did get a little hot. There are some switchbacks but a lot of natural breaks. Our entire group of 17 completed this hike in just over 4 hours with lunch at the top that included a phenomenal view. On the way day we got some good rain which felt great but made for some slippery and muddy areas but somehow made the hike even better. You should definitely check this one out!
