This was an amazing hike. I had a rough June and wasn't able to hike much so it was amazing to get back out there. I felt rejuvenated. It took me 6 hours (moving time) to do this amazing out and back hike. The views were spectacular and the trail was relatively empty since I started early. It's a shame that the area is now on fire because I was blown away by how green and lush the area was. I had hoped to come back at the end of the month to do Gorgonio but I am glad I was able to at least get Bernadino in. I sat at the peak for about a half an hour eating some snacks and making some friends. Started the hike solo and then hiked down with two new buddies which really helped keep me motivated. Sometimes the descent gets tough mentally but they kept my spirits high! Loved this hike so much!
