The trail was overgrown and in really rough shape. It hasn’t had any maintenance since 2018. We did run into 2 volunteers working on the trail. There was a major dirt (mud) slide at mile 6. It was too treacherous to navigate. We did tell the volunteers about it. They were going to head up and check it.
Otherwise we had a good time. It was a beautiful day and the views were good.
One more thing, a lot of shotguns going off up there. Shooting birds, quail. I found that a little uncomfortable.
