Windy roads leading up to the trailhead. Be careful and drive slowly as the roads are very narrow. There isn’t a parking lot, so you’ll have to park on the street.

The trail itself was very clear and well maintained. Lots of neat landmarks for photos along the way. Closer to the top there is a lookout with an informational board showing all of the mountains in the surrounding area. Further up there is another lookout of the San Felipe valley and all of its mountain ranges. You can even see one of the other challenge peaks from there (Hot Springs Mountain).

Hung out for a bit at the top for a picture and a snack. I made sure to check out the lookout that’s kind of tucked away. This had an amazing view of Cuyamaca and its surrounding mountains.

The weather was clear but insanely windy. Windbreaker and warm clothing is advised. Temperature was about high 50s to mid 60s. Total moving time was a little under 3 hours.
