Perfect weather for early morning hike..started at Bear Canyon trailhead at 7:30 and back by 12:45. Nice easy to follow trail with gradual steady incline. No poles needed until the last 1/2 mile or so which was the most difficult and steep up to the top. Amazing 360° views at the peak..spent a good while having a light snack and taking pictures! It was definitely worth the hour drive from LA county with great views of Lake Elsinore on the road up to the trailhead.
