I really wasn't prepared when I hiked Wilson, so this time I was much more prepared. I have been training 4 to 5 times a week and it showed. I did this hike with two amazing women, who are such great inspiration to get outside. One of which has completed 3 Ironmans, half dome and Whitney among countless other activities. She is a huge advocate for women to get outside and play no matter how long it takes. I was never discourage that I am slower than most as long as I do it and I did.
We did miss the sign to the peak and we took the trail to the left…that added about 1-1/2 miles after we figured we shouldn't be going downhill LOL It took us 8-1/2 hours to complete 13.5 miles
