Weather was very different from start to finish. Started out warm but nice with all the trees. By the time you get to the campground it was very cold and windy. The lookout was beautiful but freezing. We couldn't spend much time there but the view was amazing. Started to sprinkle when we got to the top so we had to head back down quickly. This hike offers so many beautiful views. The meadows were my favorite. It's starts off a little intense but it's a gradual steady climb after which made going down easier in the knees. Also be warned that small cars might not make it to the parking lot. Some big rocks and holes that were worrisome.
