This is a great trail. It is well engineered, has an easy slope and is well maintained. I love that much of it is in the shade but still offers some great views. I was birding along the way and saw lots of Hermit Thrushes, Band-tailed Pigeons and Dark-eyed Juncos. It was so quiet I heard iris along the whole way. This was a great way to start this challenge.
