Excellent hike! We summited via Devil's Backbone and returned the sameway so we could stop in for lunch at the Top of the Notch on the way back down. Great views and lunch for a post-summit break.
We skipped Baldy Bowl due to the steepness as I'm recovering from some knee problems. The weather was perfect all day. There was a breeze during the ascent and some pretty strong gusts as we made our way to the top.
The trail wasn't too busy and we even had one of the rock shelters to ourselves at the summit.
