Perfect winter day to hike Black Butte! Low fog layer which made you feel as high as the heavens and sunny, clear skies. The trail is well marked. It was very windy on the north summit. Cramp-ons sufficed but would have been nice to have snowshoes at the summit – thank you brave soul who laid down the first tracks!
