A great, quick hike. My partner and I completed this hike after work today, heading out around 4:15 pm. It was warm, but a nice trail meandering through ponderosa forest, manzanita, and some burned areas. We had clear views to the Green Ridge wildfire burning at 1,900 acres, which was pretty cool to watch. We did this hike as part of our Bi-Annual Gerry Memorial Hike, as my partner’s dad passed away a couple years ago and today would have been his 72nd birthday. Great way to celebrate, with a beer and some cake at the summit!
