Great hike. We parked at the Foothill Nature Park Interpretive Center; which I must say it is a cozy little center that has bathrooms, a coach that you can use to meet with you group/self/others, and great spot to start.

we did 18.5 miles starting from this point. The day was a bit foggy but it cleared up and it was a beautiful blue sky when the clouds parted. The ground was a bit wet and few sections it was a bit muddy. You go through forest and the some exposed areas and it was nice the change of scenery. Overall a great hike and felt very accomplished when completed.  We finished in about 8.5 hrs.
