Another very popular park so get there early as the lots fill up quickly. Weather was cool/comfortable. Took a snack break at the top. Unfortunately, one of our group lost control running downhill and cartwheeled off the edge of the trail, breaking her arm. We helped her back up to the trail and made our way to the fire road intersection where we were lucky enough to get signal and call a ranger for help. One went with her while the rest of us hiked back down. Friend is now recovered and training for Tokyo.
