Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

Started hiking at 5am, weather conditions were perfect although it was getting a bit hot as I returned to the car at 2.45pm. Long hike but well worth it, if anyone is thinking about it I totally recommend it, one of my favourites so far. Wildflowers were absolutely amazing at the beginning miles. I would recommend starting early as the weather is getting hotter. Yes of course there is obvious damage from the wildfires past but it has its own beauty also and it’s making its comeback
