Got to the trail headaround 730am and the wind she was a blowin. I was a little apprehensive about the hike due to the weather report calling for gusts up to 20 mph but we decided to try it out and turn around if we felt unsafe. We went up the ski hut trail and all though tiresome i found the hike invigorating. Made it to the summit around noon. The wind was gusting pretty strongly as we hunkered down in one of the rock out croppings and had lunch. We decided to go down the Devils back bone trail to get back to the car and being as this was only my 2nd time up on Baldy  i was unsure of the path but was surprised by the scenery. We made it back to the car around 3pm
