Started early at 5 am at the trailhead to beat the incoming heat of the day. The last 2 miles to trailhead via Cold Creek is a very rough road that will shake up your vehicle up a lot. A high clearance vehicle with good tires would be recommend .
A beautiful day with a cool wind as we made our way up the 85 switch backs. Made it to the top in 4.6 miles in 3 hrs.
A bit hotter on the way down in the early afternoon and pass some hikers on their way up.
