Our poor car. Last 2 miles to the trailhead was terrible! We have a small SUV, Toyota Rav4. We should have turned around and skipped this one but felt too invested at the time and continued. I am sure we did damage. The 2miles of off-road is only suitable for a jeep or truck in my opinion. There were some big rocks and to avoid dips we veered off to the side and scrapped the crap out of our poor vehicle. Never again! But the trail was beautiful and well marked. I am allergic to bees and felt bees were everywhere but none of them bothered us other than buzzing around constantly. We met some great hikers at the peak and had “lunch” with them. They were doing 4 peaks in one day….amazing!
